In this video podcast Richard Phillips visits Crabble Corn Mill in River near Dover in Kent. Crabble Corn Mill was opened in 1812, the same year that Napoleon was defeated at the gates of Moscow. We are taken on a tour of this fantastic water mill and shown how this traditional way of making flour still produces 4 tons a year.
Richard uses this flour at his restaurant Thackery's to make some delicious fresh bread:
* Wholemeal with fruit and nuts
* White flour with Basil and Sun Dried tomatoes
* Bread rolls
Also in the episode Richard discusses what it takes to become a successful world class chef.
