After months of fundraising we have finally bought the Hackney taxi we will be completing our 2,500 mile journey in!
We have managed to buy it for £700 off ebay and she’s a beauty! Sean the seller was looking for more than this but once we made him the offer and explained about the OBR, he said it was “impossible to refuse such a good cause”.
Check out the blog for photos and an update on OBR developments, keep checking over the coming weeks as we have news of a new sponsor (I’ll give you a clue – they’ve got a nuts connection).
The blog also now features bios of the four lads undertaking the journey. Don’t forget, we are setting the challenge of raising more in donations than the taxi meter reading at the end of the journey!
